Bread Machine Apple Bread Recipe

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ teaspoons baking powder
  • ⅔ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅔ cup white sugar
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  1. For starters, be sure that all your work surface and utensils are clean. Gather your assembled. ingredients so that they are within reach. Check that the bread machine is properly
  2. All of the ingredients should be added to the bread pan in which ever order your manufacturer suggests. Start the mixing cycle and let the machine mix the dough for about 5 minutes or until the ingredients are mixed well. If you must, during the cycle, use a rubber spatula to move dough from the sides back onto the pan. After the dough id thoroughly mixed, use the rubber spatula to smooth the top of the loaf.
  3. Select your bake setting and start your machine.
  4. There are two ways to check the bread for doneness. First you can insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the bread is done. If the toothpick has dough on it, bake it in the bread machine for another 10 -15 minutes.
  5. Remove the pan from the machine but allow the bread to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes. Remove the bread and let it cool on a wire rack.
If you would like to add texture to this recipe, add small chunks of softened apple for a slight crunchy taste.
