  1. For this recipe the utensils you will have to have are the bread machine’s baking pan, dough pen, kneading paddles, an oven and a pan.
  2. Firstly you will need to heat the milk in a pan until it is simmering. Slowly stir in the butter and brown sugar. Leave this to cool to room temperature.
  3. Put the milk mixture into the bread maker’s baking pan and add the remaining ingredients in the order specified in the ingredients list. Now you are able to close the lid and select the mix button. After minutes of mixing you’ll have to check the mixture has a good consistency. Dip a knife in and resolve whether the dough is too wet or too stiff. If it is then you must add water to an over-dry mix or flour to an over-wet mix.
  4. The next step is to let the machine bake the bread. You should have it set on a light crust setting. Once the machine has finally finished, it is time to take out the loaf, let it cool and then enjoy!
Tips and Suggestions – This bread tastes fantastic as a desert. Either serve warm after baking or place in the microwave to warm up. Then serve with custard as a warming winter pudding. The children in particular will love this recipe. This also goes down well with a little orange added to the ingredients.
