So, you can knock bread off of your grocery list but keep it in your diet!

Ingredients Needed
- 2lb. Loaf Recipe
- 1 cup vital wheat gluten
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup wheat protein isolate
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
- 1/4 cup coarse unprocessed wheat bran
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons no calorie sweetener
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 2 packages rapid rise, dry yeast
- 1.5 Loaf Recipe
- 3/4 cup vital wheat gluten
- 1/8 cup almond flour
- 1/8 cup wheat protein isolate
- 1/8 cup oat flour
- 1/8 cup flaxseed meal
- 1 tablespoon unprocessed wheat bran
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons no calorie sweetener
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 1/4 tablespoons oil
- 2 eggs room temperature
- 1 1/2 packages rapid rise, dry active yeast
Instructions
- Clean all of your cooking surfaces and utensils before you begin this project. Place all of your ingredients within reach for convenience. Have your cooking rack nearby.
- Start by combining all of your dry ingredients, aside from the sugar and yeast, in a bowl. In your bread pan, blend the water, sugar, oil and eggs. These wet ingredients should go in the bottom of the bread pan. Spread the dry ingredients over the wet ingredients, covering them completely. Add the sugar to the pan. With your fingers, make a well and pour the yeast into the pan. The bread machine will mix the yeast in and activate it.
- Select the White or Basic cycle and choose the crust color that you desire. When the bead is finished baking, move it to the cooling rack.

Question… I have a jar of Bread Machine yeast in my fridge so how much of that can I use in place of the 2 pkgs of rapid rise yeast?
Hi Kathy. One package of yeast is 2.5 teaspoons.
