Bread Machine Cinnamon Bread Recipe

A wonderful way to start the day, homemade cinnamon bread is great for breakfast or snacks, sandwiches or as a light snack.

2lb. Loaf Recipe
  • 1⅓ cups warm water (110 degrees F)
  • 2⅔ tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • ⅓ cups granulated white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4⅔ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup raisins

  • 1¼ cups warm water (110 degrees F)
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 2¼ cups bread flour
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3½ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup raisins
  1. Place the ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer. If you are adding the yeast last, make a well in the dry ingredients to pour it into. This will help stop the yeast from activating prematurely.
  2. Select Sweet and Light settings on your machine and add raisins as per your manufacturer’s instructions. They can be added in with everything else. Start your bread machine. After the first kneading cycle is over, the bread should be smooth and stretchy. It should feel dry when you touch it. If necessary, add flour by the tablespoon to adjust the bread.
  3. After baking, remove the bread pan from the machine. Let the bread rest for 10 minutes in the pan. Remove the bread the bread from pan and allow it to cool on a wire rack for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
